Now that I finally have a little sewing blog, I can take part in the Debi’s Sew Grateful Week. I’m really happy to take this little step into the sewing blog community, because I am very grateful for this community.
For now, I have a little something to give away…six fat quarters of quilting cotton as shown in the picture below. I have tried to get the colors as true as possible in the image, but you know how computers are with color.Β So, the green on the farthest left is what I would call a sage color. Maybe that will help you envision what the colors actually are. This giveaway is open to anybody who comments on this post. If you like, tell me what you think you might do with the fabric. Please make your comments by the end of the day on Friday February 28th and I will choose the winner over the weekend.
Oh, what pretty fabrics! i’d use them as accents on garments – pocket bags, waistbands, patch pockets, covered buttons, that sort of thing. Little pops of floral prettiness. π
Hi there
I would love to enter your giveaway. I would probably make something for my daughter or make several gifts for female friends. Sage is my daughter’s favourite herb which is crunches on after a roast dinner so this would have her name on it.
The fabric is so lovely, I’m a flower-fabric addict! π I’d probably sew a quilt top for my kitchen, I need to bring in something new and change things (otherwise it’s boring π ) Thank you!
I think these fabrics would make a lovely knitting needle case – my latest sewing obsession is tool organization, lol. Thanks for the giveaway!
Oh, lovely, florals are the best!! Thank you for giving us the chance to win!
A first though is a patchwork as i can see that all of them would match perfectly! π
Lovely fat quarters! I have not made a quilt in a while but really need to get back to it! Those would go nicely in my “collection”… π Happy Sew Gratefull Week!
I’m a quilter, so those lovelies would likely end up in all sorts of places and projects. Although, you’ve coordinated them so nicely, I might have to find a small project and keep them all together!
Congrats starting your “little sewing blog”. I just started mine last month! I would use these for dresses for my daughter, or to make pocketbooks -I love the patterns from Swoon and have been wanting to try one! The fabrics are lovely!
Thanks Bethany! For some reason, I can’t find a link to your blog, like I can for some commenters. I would love to follow you…can you reply with your url?
Please enter me for this giveaway. I have been wanting to do a bit of quilting and this would be a great start. Lovely colours.
I’d make knitting project bags with them; would be lovely to store my knitting projects in while I’m working on them.
What pretty fabrics. I would use them in garment sewing (like Kat H – she has put it so well; little pops of floral prettiness)
I am in the process of making my first quilt and I wold love more fabric.
Ha, I have just decorated my room in these colours, so I would be making things to make it more cosy.
Oh, so pretty… I am planning to begin a quilted purse and would love to use the fabrics for it. Thank you for your give-away!
What pretty fabrics…they would make a lovely patched pouch.
Oh, there are lovely! I would use them for bunting that I am going to make for my friend – she is due to have her first baby in April and has asked for bunting for the little one’s nursery.
Gorgeous fabric selection! I’d use them for cuffs or pockets on solid-coloured garments. I love a good accent!
